Pastor's Bio
Our pastor describes himself as a simple man of God. He is the middle child of Ruth McClellan and Superintendent Harold Davis, Sr. of Memphis, Tennessee. He was born in 1955 into a family of six siblings and their loving parents. He has one younger brother and four sisters.
He was raised in Memphis, Tennessee and Syracuse, New York. He graduated from Carver High School in Memphis in 1973 and later studied at University of Tennessee in Knoxville and also at Cornell University in New York where he learned about Computer Operations and Business.
He has been a pastor since 2014 at Greater First Church of God in Christ in Knoxville and now at Greater First Church of God in Christ in Johnson City, TN.
In the past he was employed by Weyerhaeuser, Budweiser, Union Pacific Railroad, and other firms mainly in computer operations. Presently, besides being a pastor, he is also employed at Knoxville Community Action Committee as an Intake Specialist.
